Morning Flow IN-Studio | LIVE ZOOM | VOD
Tuesday 9:00-10:15 am
The skills acquired in Yoga Newbies may be 'asana appetizers' for moving forward into exploring other styles of Yoga or more challenging "Flow" classes. These classes provide a 'bridge' from one side of the river to the other, much as we might move from 'calm' currents, into more challenging rapids.
My Flow practices weave creative sequencing into traditional and non-traditional Sun Salutations, building strength and stamina while staying mindful of the breath and pose transitions. The moments 'between the poses' is where the magic happens! Understanding your unique needs and ways to modify a pose to meet those needs, is emphasized. Up to 12 students.
Be ready to playfully explore a variety of asana excursions such as arm balances and inversions, (preparatory pose alternatives offered before full inversions), balanced with the deeper, connective tissue release of Yin poses. Experience the calming effects of pranayama and mindfulness meditation, cultivating the power of presence and awareness. This class is an invitation to revitalize and deeply nourish.

OUR TRAINING
Aikido is a practice that can be started at anytime of your life and can be continued throughout your life. Through the intentional practice we explore physically, mentally, and spiritually, what it means to harmonize with energy.
We find the natural, spiral movements of the body help to stretch us, strengthen us, and balance us. As we continue to explore the movements we begin to understand how the lessons in the dojo are lessons of living a peaceful and constructive life. We feel the power of harmonizing and creating rather than fighting and destroying.
Aikido has been described as moving meditation, therapeutic, empowering, relaxing, energizing, challenging, fun, and yes it is a powerful martial art, all of this is true. What Aikido is for you will depend on where you are in your journey and what you bring to the table. We take that and grow from there.
WE ARE ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS,
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
Regular Monthly Dues $120. Introductory rate $85 for the first month.
